  1. Hi there! I'm writing this post to ask you if the core is a real "fork" of the Official 3.3.5a one? If I ask this, it's because i found a possible error with the location of an NPC. Or maybe it is the quest text. I explain: I'm actually in test with my little own server. I play Alliance, Night Elf, and I'm questing with the "QuestID 922 - Rellian Greenspyre" which is asking me to reach this NPC at "Wellspring Hovel". But this NPC is actually in his Darnassus position (WoW Classic). However, I don't know which one is wrong: the NPC position, or the Quest Text!? WoWHead Quest: https://www.wowhead.com/quest=922/rellian-greenspyre WoWHead Classic Quest:https://classic.wowhead.com/quest=922/rellian-greenspyre WoWHead NPC: https://www.wowhead.com/npc=3517/rellian-greenspyre WoWHead Classic NPC: https://classic.wowhead.com/npc=3517/rellian-greenspyre The Core I use: TrinityCore rev. e3da1ed24556 2020-10-17 14:24:54 +0200 (3.3.5 branch) (Unix, RelWithDebInfo, Static) Database: up-to-date. TDB 335.20101 with latest SQL Patches applied So, my question is: is it a core issue, or a quest one? Hope you can answer Thanks a lot V.
  2. Hi there, I would like to post a comment for an update about a quest error I found in the French DB. But your Forum Website ask to check before the IssueTracker. But the link is dead. The dead link I found is here: - when connected in the forum start page: Forum > TrinityDev > Bug reporting - in this section, it is asked to us to visit this page: https://www.trinitycore.org/f/topic/37-the-trinitycore-issuetracker-and-you/ - but this link is dead. The real one seems to be here: https://community.trinitycore.org/topic/37-the-trinitycore-issuetracker-and-you/ Can you make the change? Thanks a lot V.
  3. Hi all! First, I would like to thank the team and all the devs that are continuing into programming of TrinityCore, after all years! I'm a newbie on using a WoW Emulator like this one. I tried Azeroth-Core, MaNGOS and it seems that yours is better than the others. Azeroth-Core, based on Trinity, and still updated, is not playable. MaNGOS, I can't run the mangosd because of missing maps... however. About TrinityCore, i installed it on a little old computer, at home, to play alone when I want and especially to get back into the pleasant WotLK version. Listening musics, grab mining, etc. But I got a lot of bugs i can't explain, and I would like some help if possible. 1. when the server is freshly up: all the Rare Mobs are poped! No exclusion. Some are poped twice, like Putridus The Ancient (https://www.wowhead.com/npc=32487) and are not moving until I'm coming near them 2. most of Rares are running through the map. Example: Vyragosa has run through an entire mountain. I still had focus on her, but no way to reach her. After she went through the other side of the mountain, she disapeared 2. all the flying mobs are 'falling' when the server start to show them on the client screen. They reach the floor, stay for few seconds, and starts to move. Some are staying on the floor, as like as they are blocked on it. I have to go near them and they start to move, and reaching the original flying points. But, if i go away, they stop flying, and stay on place 3. there are too much mobs, objects, etc. Some zones are really full of 2, sometimes 3x mobs glued to each others. And too much objects like ores that are too close to each others. 4. I play exclusively in French, and some NPC texts are still in english. How to correct this? So, as you can see, my server needs some fixing. But, I don't know if it's because of the WorldDB, the maps (mmaps, vmaps), or both. I reinstalled the server twice, and still the same. I tried 2 WoW Clients (one FR, one EN) for dbc/maps/mmaps/vmaps extraction and no change. So, if you are aware of these little issues, and can help me to fix them, i'll be very happy! Thanks a lot for your jobs. Really! V. nb.: I can capture a video and/or take a screenshot of some issues. I had no time for the Vyragosa one but if i see her again, i'll try to snapshot her!
  4. Hi! To compile your MAPS, you just need to copy your World of Warcraft 3.3.5a Client into a folder on your Debian Server. You can use Filezilla to connect through your Debian SSH protocol Then, you can copy the 4 files from your "../server/bin" folder into the root of the WoW game folder and launch each one by one, as explained here: https://trinitycore.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/tc/pages/10977340/Linux+Server+Setup You will have 5 folders (Cameras, dbc, maps, mmaps, vmaps) to move from the game folder to the "../server/data" folder Good luck V. nb.: this site is really helpful = https://trinitycore.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/tc/pages/2130077/Installation+Guide
