Today I wanted to edit a wiki page with some small changes. But after saving the page it was fucked up. All internal links was replaced and a lot other stupid changes was made:

    https://trinitycore.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/diffpagesbyversion.action?pageId=2130261&selectedPageVersions=118&selectedPageVersions=117

I had to revert it to version 117.

However I checked it with other pages -> same issue. I even don't need to do any single change. I can just click on page edit, than immediately on page preview and have tons of changes I never made.

    I hate Atlassian products!

    we can agree on that.

I will look into the wiki tonight.

  2. dang kids and your discords.... BACK IN MY DAY, we had Ventrilo and we hated it! then we had vent and TeamSpeak and we mostly hated them on a case by case basis. then mumble came out and no one knows what it is to this day.

how is discord making money? cant trust them till you find that out.

@Malcrom you dont count in this vote.

  3. Currently the wiki has been having issues on and off for a bit. so we have three ways to go forward from this.

    1. fix what we have.
      1. I am throwing resources at it, im getting nothing in return... its like a bad relationship.....
      2. the error logs lead to old answers that either dont apply or dont work.
      3. some plugins broke on new versions so its partially broken and needs to be  manually fixed.
      4. Benefit : we have more control over the data, plugins etc
      5. Con : I am not always around to update and fix it due to work and that real life bullshit. :|
    2. move out to atlassian cloud hosted wiki
      1. already done. https://trinitycore.atlassian.net/wiki
      2. it doesn't have some of the plugins so the fancy tabs and all that jazz weren't converted over so it needs to be fixed.
      3. Benefit : Atlassian maintain, upgrade and fix any issues so more stability and availability.
      4. Con : Less control over data, plugins, etc
    3. convert to another wiki software.
      1. I have barely found anything functional, and thanks to the tabs etc provided by the plugin the exports dont exactly work so more manual work is needed.

1 & 2 seem more practical. im open to any suggestions.

  4. the fancy stuff on the wiki is driven by plugin some of which have changed drastically or have not been upgraded to work with new version of confluence. I have tried looking into the cause but I have no answer at this moment. and I have very little time to redo all the wiki pages at this point. i want to move the wiki to cloud hosting with atlassian but that breaks it further because atlassian has some pretty shitty support for plugins  and most of the formatting plugins arent supported on the cloud hosting they offer. so im stuck with this giant pile of mediocrity. :)

  5. working on stuff so short answers atm, can expand later if you want.

#1 : not cloudflare, having issues with php-fpm timeouts.

#2 : wiki was being moved to new hosting, and to new url, www.trinitycore.info. after the move there was an upgrade, some of our plugins were not licensed for new version. all should be working well now.

#3 : pagination was part of #1, php-fpm + nginx work perfectly for the two dozen other sites but not this one

    #4 : exact same reason as #1+#3

im literally working on this as much as I can around my work to have it all fixed ASAP.
