  1. I hope this is in the right thread "Compile or cmake problems" it's what I have I have all the requirements: I've searched the net for the boost eerror, and there are thousads of post regarding it - little to no solutions. The solutions they do give (including here) I have already done. Eviroment vars set: YES. boost installed to its own folder: Yes. error produced by cmake: CMake Error at cmake/macros/FindBoost.cmake:1113 (message): Unable to find the requested Boost libraries. Boost version: 1.55.0 Boost include path: J:/_boost Could not find the following static Boost libraries: boost_system boost_thread boost_program_options No Boost libraries were found. You may need to set BOOST_LIBRARYDIR to the directory containing Boost libraries or BOOST_ROOT to the location of Boost. I been on pc's for sometime (and compiling wow servers for over 5yrs - first time with trinity - I hear trinity is pretty active vs mangos), never had issues like this. Just Express + DB's compile and your done. Trinity on the other hand, 3rd party apps.. makes things messy - too many cooks in the kitchen as they say. Anyways. not sure what else to do, Currently Enviroment var is set to BOOT_ROOT -> J:_boost and yet cmake can only see some of the folder (as seen above) I just changed everything over to c: (as per friend suggestion) and still fails with the above error. So posting here, to see if I can get another suggestion, if not, i'll prob head back to mangos. I really want this to work, but sometimes things are just not meant to be
