Hello once again community! Thanks for all ur help so far, it's really appreciated.. I'll pull out another hand to get caught! ... So my problem is that I can easy buff / nerf a creature npc through World.conf and edit the rates on HP, AP damage, melee damage and so on... Look at: Uploaded Images to see an example! So my question is am I able to burf nerf specific creature spell to do less / more dmg and how so? An example could be Razorscale's Devouring Flame! Thanks guys

3.3.5a Migrating completed quests from one char to another

I suppose this is two questions in one. I ".reset spells", etc and now when I login to WowTLK 3.3.5A I get "can't speak that language" I have a macro that selects a language and then I can talk normally.... or I can just choose a language. What language is my char/client trying to use? I cleared my account/cache in my client. Only new chars work. I then thought, I can't solve this, all I can do is "select" a language every login... I can't even use GM commands until i do. So, perhaps make a new char and "copy" the quests over.... I've no idea how I might do this. Any help? -
Hello folks I once updated my Trinity Server (3.3.5a) to the latest version (30.09.2020), unfortunately my Draenei Warlock is now broken. I once created one in an older version by simply changing the breed in the database. After the update I couldn't select it at first, because the combination is invalid. This message came in the console. I did some research and found out that the playercreateinfo_ tables have to be filled. I did that. I can log in now, but it seems that I have no language. The error message "you can not speak this language" appears in the chat. I cannot select a language either. I have already tried many things, including adding the skills, but the error remains. I can't remember that it was so difficult in the past, has anything been changed?

Hi, Following one recent commit officially adding MariaDB 10.4 support, I took this opportunity to update my database server (from MariaDB 10.1 to MariaDB 10.4) and compiled the game server with the corresponding libraries instead of MySQL 5.7. Everything went fine and the server runs properly. I had one tiny little issue though: I had to fill the MySQLExecutable variable in the conf file otherwise the worldserver executable wouldn't launch: Didn't find any executable MySQL binary at '/Server/Release/bin/Release' or in path, correct the path in the *.conf ("MySQLExecutable"). I never had to fill this variable before and it was still working fine with this commit: https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore/commit/48c700347c91b1748427a8c5b09b8d4099c9a105 I'm running with this commit at the moment: https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore/commit/43d9ffd1bc127768882711a47d5e2bae92845d04 It's not that big of deal obviously, but the worldserver conf file states for this variable: If the path is left empty, built-in path from cmake is used. Alas, while being properly set in CMake, the path isn't used anymore. Is this the new expected behavior or is this a bug?

Hello guys, I was wondering that would be nice if i can active the flying mounts in Azeroth allowing the players to use it in Orgrimmar for example. So, here's my question: is there any way to do that in the server core side? I know that the game doesnt support flying mounts in Azeroth in the retail but i would like to do it (if its possible). I've serched in the forum for it and didn't find anything about it. Thanks for the help!

Placed several items in the AH today with the 24 hour setting to check with, restarted both world and auth servers, and the items placed in AH were no longer there, nor was there any mail for items sold or returned. I made 2 realms, one for 2.4.3, one for 3.3.5 but for some reason when I try to connect to the 3.3.5 realm I'm getting this error in the cosole: WorldSocket::HandleAuthSession: Client *my home pc's ip is here* requested connecting with realm id 22 but this realm has id 2 set in config. I also get this in-game: The game server you have chosen is currently down. Use the Change Realm button to choose another Realm. The Auth.exe that I use is by OregonCore 2.4.3 for both, but Oregon is 50-60% TrinityCore. When I use the auth.exe by TrinityCore the same problem occurs in the 2.4.3 realm but the 3.3.5 starts working. I don't have any other errors like DB & etc. That's the only problem. I checked the DB auth > realmist and everything looks fine. Here's a picture: http://prntscr.com/mhpbmr I have also opened all the needed ports. I've searched through the Wiki concerning this and the only thing I found was a post that states it is outdated. Is there another guide for setting up the built-in ahbot to offer glyphs? Players are logging off while at one location, but when they re-login their character is not where it was when they log off. Has happened to me as well. Was in the rest area in Astranaar, went to log back in and was at the Flight master at Astranaar instead. When this happens, the rest state does not properly shutdown. Have to go back into the rest area then leave before it shuts down the rest state. In other words, I can run all over the place, go into combat and finish, and still be gaining rest state. I followed every step from the wiki site and created an own 3.3.5a WoW Server. After that I downloadet the 3.3.5a version of World of Warcraft from Warmane. Hello everyone. I dont know, if this is the right Forum, but I have searched for a long time now and found nothing. I want to increase Spell's in my DB with the table spell_bonus_data. Increasing with attackpower is no Problem, but with the direct_bonus and dot_bonus nothing will happen. At the site atlastrinitycore there stand that these both colums are for Spellpower. I hope somebody can help me with my problem.

I have a 3.3.5 TC server with a population of <50 (accounts not characters). At any given time there are usually 10-15 people logged in but there have been stretches where no one logs in for a few hours. Yesterday with around 10 people logged on, someone decided to head to Booty Bay to take part in the fishing event. They logged off in Booty Bay around 12p server time and relogged around 115p server time immediately going AFK. I am not sure exactly what time they were disconnected but it was before 150p. At 150p they relogged and stayed in Booty Bay checking mail, banking, etc., waiting for the anticipated 2p start of the fishing event. 2p came and went and no fishing event. They told me that this is the second time they've tried and the event hasn't started. The first time they did not arrive in Booty Bay until 205p and they believe they were the only person in the zone. Yesterday they were there before 2p but again likely the only person in the zone. I'm not sure why the event isn't starting for them. I have never tried to complete the fishing event and honestly don't even know if it is scripted. I have seen NPCs in capitols 'advertising' it before. I have noticed that the PVP event in Stranglethorn (Gurubashi Arena) doesn't trigger unless someone is in the zone a few minutes before the start of the event (every three hours). I presumed it was the same with fishing which is why I advised logging in and being in the zone prior to the scheduled start. My questions are: Is the event scripted/working in 3.3.5? Is there a way to get the event (and the pvp event for that matter) to start at the scheduled time without anyone in the zone? The server is compiled Static which I thought would help with that type of scenario. Can/How do you manually trigger the fishing event? TIA for any help with this.

Can anyone confirm if the Ring of Law event has been patched? People being stuck in the event and not being able to get past it to the bar to get the key. I read thru some posted issues and it seems like the issue is being attributed to the same issue as the Death Knight mine car quest issue but the status is not clear to me. I'd prefer to wait a bit to recompile if the fix is forthcoming. Not trying to whine about a fix just trying to understand the status.

When taking quests, NPC text is in French (witch is what I want) but when checking or completing, text become in English. screens: quest proposal - quest validation Does anyone have a clue how to change it to French only? (and what in the world have I done for it to be like this?) Thanks.

Hello community. Since I can only understand coding and not write them yet, have I decided to make a YouTube-channel where I'm making videos of TrinityCore. The reason I do this is to point out some of the mistakes that TrinityCore contains so you may correct them. Since I had problems before with making my own compiled TrinityCore server I was required to post here on the website. I was very quickly surprised by the help I received, even knowing that I was a beginner. So I wanted to give something in return. Since I have a good circle of friends who loves to play on my new server, I feel that's the way I contribute. On a fresh compilation of TrinityCore, I'm getting this error: https://gist.github.com/Aidoboy/21ab0a7a00eca6096dcafad395cfeefc I'm sure that the conf file has the right mysql details, that the user has the CREATE privilege, and I am on the most recent Trinity3 commit. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

My server is up and running and everything is gold. However, my friend that asked me to host the server in the first place (we want to just experience classic wow again) cannot seem to stay connected. Half of the time, he gets stuck at the loading screen after selecting his character, but h ALWAYS gets past the character select with no issues. Once in a while he can connect, but things are buggy and laggy for him and he gets disconnected. I have tested the connection remotely from another computer (at work) and everything ran fine. I logged in under his account and there was absolutely nothing wrong). So the problem lies somewhere within his network / computer obviously. (Also, I shared my client with him, so they are all the same). I have tried the following: -opened 3724 and 8085 in his firewall (though he owns wow legitimately so I'd imagine the correct ports should be open already) -deleted the wtf and cache -did a dns flush Can anyone think of anything else to do that might solve this? I can play with no issues even running teamviewer, connecting to the computer at work, and logging in from there! Server is running on Ubuntu 16.4 and is magical.

TrinityCore rev. 813e33b92784 2016-06-13 11:29:12 +0200 (3.3.5 branch) (Win64, Debug) (worldserver-daemon) I have a low level character that is learning the profession of mining. Leave Ironforge and went to the rock quarry just south of Ironforge, but there was only 2 copper veins in the whole quarry. There used to be way more than just two veins there. Kept going towards Thelsamar, and only saw a couple of copper veins while on the way there. Not very much copper ore anywhere. Is this a data issue or is there something on the worldserver.conf I need to look into?
