i tried every single ACE... no luck with either one, same error i get.

Solved. I've upgraded the ACE lib to 5.7.8 version. The core compiling was completed successfully. Thank you very much!

In my opinion 6.0.1 version is much better. 5.7.8 is lowest version which trinitycore support.

the problem is /MP an arg of MSV.

one fast fix is use SED for windows in a batch file.

long time ago i don't use this... xD

execute in the project dir after cmake generate this.

rem fix.bat

@For /f "delims=" %%a in ('"dir flags.make /s /b"') do @sed -i.bak s/\/MP// "%%a"

2) install MYsql

3) delete compile folder

enter into Cmake

do not touch settings

generate project

compile.

*last trinity changests: compile success

Those errors don't indicate that OpenSSL or MySQL are missing. The OP just needs to clean the build

before buildng it. If the libraries were missing, the error messages would in fact say so.

I have a not so funny problem with my core:

I have added a full script for algalon in ulduar. I thought I only have to delete the old script and paste the new. allyright i've done it. i have run cmake, and start compiling. But every try i got this error:

so i have it understand:

1.) rum cmake and compile the core normaly

2.) after compile delete the "CmakeFiles" in the build folder

3.)add the algalon script in the ulduar folder of the source folder

4.) run cmake again and generate codes again

5.) start compiling again

6.) the wordlsevrer.exe in the release folder got then the script included ?

No....

1. Delete your files that cmake previously generated.

2. Add the script to your clone.

3. Run cmake to generate new code.

4. Compile the new source code.

Any time you add a new script you should delete the old files cmake generated and run cmake to make new ones.

hmmm i have generated code with cmake, than i have added the script in the sourcefolder, i have deleted all in the cmake build directory, i have rerun cmake to generate the new files have started compiling but every time 12 succes 2errors libs and authserver builded but worldserver is missing every time

i found 2 error messages at the code:

I found one error but have no clue about the second....

the 2nd error is that the sign for _DoAggroPulse isn't found so i think the sign must be added but no idea where and how :D

oke i have dropped the _DoAggroPulse script, no compile error but now lets see that the script will work :D

Update: hmpf i need the sql for algalon and the planetarium cause he said no aggro sounds etc cause missing texts and object i think

Look where the errors start! And maybe you will get a clue of what is it.

Also, what revision did you pull?

Note: "The last one" isn't a answer!

But seems that you don't have ACE on your path!

You seem to be doing something wrong because a lot of files are missing which cause those errors. The main error is " No such file or directory".

Case 1: You don't have full copy of the repo

Case 2: You don't set Cmake Lists settings required to compile the core.

Case 3: Unknown error, perhaps you are just dumb :P

      The chat channel Lookup for group is not available when a player isn't in a city. I tried to modify the worldserver.conf file with:
      #
      #    Channel.RestrictedLfg
      #        Description: Restrict LookupForGroup channel to characters registered in the LFG tool.
      #        Default:     1 - (Enabled, Allow join to channel only if registered in LFG)
      #                     0 - (Disabled, Allow join to channel in any time)
      Channel.RestrictedLfg = 0

      I restarted the server but it didn't help.

      Hey, I've been trying to compile from github the core from 6.2.3/6.2.4, I'm well aware its stopped developing. I cannot get it to configure properly in CMake, nor can I obviously build it.
       
      I'd be willing to pay for help and get this working and running. I want to develop my own server on my freetime as a learning project and for entertainment. I can't find any core for WoD, sadly.. Very hard, would appreciate any quick help

      I believe everything I have done up to this point has been correct. When I go to launch worldserver.exe a console window opens up for a second and closes right away and nothing else seems to have happened. I skipped a head a little in the instructions to see what is left and step 5 seems skippable since I am running this only for this computer and step 6 has me launch to a log in screen which I can not get to. I tried going to the faq but the page was not loading properly so I am forced to post here.

      I'd just like to get a little insight to why so much of the current Trinitycore code doesn't match up to a few years ago.
      Now I know I'm not a pro at coding on Trinitycore and I understand that the core is open sourced but these just seem so significant and doesn't seem right to remove this stuff.
       
      Let me give an example. Lets say I'm watching this tutorial to get a little information about classes and methods that I can use when making a script. (I've also been using the Trinitycore Code Documentation as reference as well but it also seems to show the same issues)
      Although the tutorial is a little out of date, I don't see why OnGossipSelect doesn't exist anywhere in CreatureScript and that when I try to link the script to the core code it spits out this error.
      object of abstract class type "GossipTeleporter" is not allowed:
      pure virtual function "CreatureScript::GetAI" has no overrider
      The DEFINES of "ADD_GOSSIP_ITEM" and many more don't exist either.
       
      Am I missing something? All I want to know is if the core is mean't to be this way and if not should I download an older version of the core before I put to much working into my current core.
      (I downloaded my core right from the Trinitycore website tutorial)
       
      I'm currently trying to write a simple gossipteleporter that will let you talk to an npc and teleport to the given location. It's very hard to do this when so many things just don't exist within my core.

      Well ... today I was about to compile the trinity core version for WoW 4.3.4 of this repository "https://gitlab.com/trinitycore/TrinityCore_434". Download them and when you use the cmake, I generate the solution correctly. When I began to compile this went well until I got to the last step, when I was 90% practically.
