It's sad that they haven't fixed these problems in over 2 years, and that people continue to use it, instead of the much superior (and free) SQLyog community edition...

[ERROR]: In mysql_stmt_prepare() id: 1, sql: "DELETE FROM linked_respawn WHERE guid = ?"

Same problem here. A little help would be great. Thanks in advance.

I used Jayzee's query (Thank you btw ) replacing it with my linked_respawn fields. Now, after ./worldserver, this happens :

[ERROR]: In mysql_stmt_prepare() id: 27, sql: "SELECT creatorGuid, giftCreatorGuid, count, duration, charges, flags, enchantments, randomPropertyId, durability, playedTime, text, bag, slot, item, itemEntry FROM character_inventory ci JOIN item_instance ii ON ci.item = ii.guid WHERE ci.guid = ? ORDER BY bag, slot"

[ERROR]: Unknown column 'itemEntry' in 'field list'

Abracadabra ! Any reappearances on this one ?

What was used to insert the database..? :mellow:

`itemEntry` mediumint(8) unsigned NOT NULL DEFAULT '0',

=> I suspect this is the cause . It's in the characters_database.sql . Need to delete this entry from the item_instance related query. Any hints please ?

LE : Fixed it. Just drop the item_instance table and rebuild it with the itemEntry column in it.

OMG u cant just drop this table - all items will disappear from ur characters inventory.

-- Add new column to item_instance table

ALTER TABLE `item_instance` ADD COLUMN `itemEntry` mediumint(8) unsigned NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' AFTER `guid`;

-- Set values for new column from corresponding columns in other tables

UPDATE item_instance ii, auctionhouse ah

SET ii.itemEntry = ah.item_template

WHERE ii.guid = ah.itemguid;

UPDATE item_instance ii, character_inventory ci

SET ii.itemEntry = ci.item_template

WHERE ii.guid = ci.item;

UPDATE item_instance ii, guild_bank_item gbi

SET ii.itemEntry = gbi.item_entry

WHERE ii.guid = gbi.item_guid;

UPDATE item_instance ii, mail_items mi

SET ii.itemEntry = mi.item_template

WHERE ii.guid = mi.item_guid;

U missed 10654_characters_item_instance.sql update.

It looks to me like there is a problem with your settings for the auth DB

[ERROR]: In mysql_stmt_prepare() id: 51, sql: "SELECT type, time, data FROM acco

unt_data WHERE account = ?"

[ERROR]: Unknown column 'account' in 'where clause'

~DatabaseWorkerPool for ''.

~DatabaseWorkerPool for 'characters'.

~DatabaseWorkerPool for 'world'.

Or, the fact that you have mixed mysql 5.1 with 5.5 is causing prepared statements to mess up, just like it says in the warning.

I am new to TrinityCore, and I have my server completely updated and installed. The server was giving a MySQL server mismatch, so I downloaded the version to match it. Now, when I run worldserver.exe, it closes. (Note: authserver.exe works perfectly fine) I anticipated that the error would be inside Server.txt, but this is all it gave me

It also says that my revision is 0. But, I went into the Database and executed query SELECT * FROM `version`; on my world database and it said I am running on Rev 11360. I searched around and it told me to recreate my characters database. I did this, and it did not fix the error. Any way to fix this error? Below is the configuration for my authserver.conf and my worldserver.conf

The rev 0 part is because you are using an old revision of git and/or have not installed properly git extensions.

As for the crash, try running from the command line (start->run->cmd) and see if it prints the error there.

Okay, I opened worldserver.exe again and I saw a little something ( [ERROR]). It gave me these two errors on startup:

Fixed. Changed column 'accountId' to column 'account'. Fixed it. Still having problems with the git though.

Manually changing DB field name without knowing why your DB is different from what the core expect is a recipe for disaster. You might have corruption later on too. Check again which DB revision you use and which core revision you use.

You better off go through the SQL updates, checking which revision you missed out this change because changing the field name may not be the only change submitted on that revision.

Cheers...

Apply the proper SQL updates for your core revision. Looks like you have missed at least https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore/commit/3973d1b45444c0c8fcd7aa1e033be4329dce05ae#diff-1

      Hi,

      The chat channel Lookup for group is not available when a player isn't in a city. I tried to modify the worldserver.conf file with:
      #
      #    Channel.RestrictedLfg
      #        Description: Restrict LookupForGroup channel to characters registered in the LFG tool.
      #        Default:     1 - (Enabled, Allow join to channel only if registered in LFG)
      #                     0 - (Disabled, Allow join to channel in any time)
      Channel.RestrictedLfg = 0

      I restarted the server but it didn't help.

      Thanks

      I believe everything I have done up to this point has been correct. When I go to launch worldserver.exe a console window opens up for a second and closes right away and nothing else seems to have happened. I skipped a head a little in the instructions to see what is left and step 5 seems skippable since I am running this only for this computer and step 6 has me launch to a log in screen which I can not get to. I tried going to the faq but the page was not loading properly so I am forced to post here.

      Well ... today I was about to compile the trinity core version for WoW 4.3.4 of this repository "https://gitlab.com/trinitycore/TrinityCore_434". Download them and when you use the cmake, I generate the solution correctly. When I began to compile this went well until I got to the last step, when I was 90% practically.
