    Which Version of visual studio is compatible with 7.3.5?

  5. Hello there! I just wanted to make a 7.3.5 Trinitycore Server and folllowed as always the steps at the wiki. Everything worked fine till the build with VS. I used Visual Studio 16 2019 x64 newest version at CMAKE. Trinitycore build: TDB735.00 After the Build I get this: ========== Build: 14 succeeded, 12 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ========== and a lot of C2039 Errors with the description: "_snprintf" ist not a member of "std" (see this picture | <--- errors descriptions are on german) at the Output I get smth like this: " 25>C:\local\boost_1_72_0\boost/asio/ip/basic_resolver.hpp(54,21): fatal error C1903: Weiterverarbeitung nach vorherigem Fehler nicht möglich; Kompilierung wird abgebrochen. "

  7. Well I got it done, but now I've used the extractors from the latest pull and world server does not like 250 from 1 of the dbc's. I am on master fork and running a client. Is core still expecting the 8.2.0 maps? Perhaps I need to extract again. EDIT: Patch just dropped today. That could have done it too.
  8. So, I've worked with compiling many cores before; and I'm a little confused. I've gotten to the point in the Wiki were I put together the databases and populate them; and I'm lost. The wiki instructions specifically state to download the TDB_Full_*.7z, but all 8.x TDB releases only appear to have source code files with an empty base world.sql and TONS of update files. If memory serves (it has been a while since I've compiled Trinity); these files do not populate the world db with the initial data; but updates them. So, I suppose what I am asking is, for MASTER branch, which TDB do I need to start with to get the full database; before using the other 8.x releases to update the DB? Would it be the last Legion database release? EDIT 1: From what I'm able to gather, I can use TDB_Full_735.7z to install base data; and then use the latest 8.2.5 world updates from the source tar to update to 8.2.5 data. Requiring only the two zip files. Is this correct? EDIT 2: I found the 8.2.0 full release in the tags section, I will start from their and update accordingly.
  9. Hello guys, I have an issue with recompiling my old TC core (2015) on Windows 10, like in the attached screenshot. Steps I took: 1. Install Git Extensions (2.27.0) 64-bit 2. Install Visual Studio 2019 3. Install Win64 OpenSSL v1.0.2u to the /bin directory 4. Install and add to Windows path boost_1_73_0-msvc-14.2-64.exe 5. Install CMake-3.17.3-win64-x64.msi 6. Install and configure MySQL 7. Pulled the Core Source to a folder 8. Created a Build folder 9. Run CMake and got the error. I've tried changing the compiler to Visual Studio 2013 - same error I've tried changing CMake to v2.8.12.2 - same error I've tried changing Win64 OpenSSL v1.1.1g 64bit/32/bit - same error This is driving me crazy... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!
  10. Try setting the LoginREST.LocalAddress to the same IP as you have for LoginREST.ExternalAddress.
  11. Yes 3 server. 3.3.5 and 4.3.4 use the same auth server. And 8.3.x bnet server and multipe db
  12. Thanks for getting back to me. Sorry for late response. I installed only the 3.3.5 package, as I assumed the master package is for legion? Or do I have to install both of them? I'm going to try to do it again. Trying both solutions. Thanks! EDIT: Just installed 3.3.5 package following the instructions. If I browse my /opt/trinitycore/bin directory there is only authserver and worldserver files in there. I also tried to install the master package after installing 3.3.5 and got "E: Unable to locate package trinitycore-server-master-en"

  14. In worldserver.conf, do you have: Updates.EnableDatabases = 7 Updates.AutoSetup = 1
  15. So you have 3 world servers running on the same image? Are you trying to use them all with the same auth server? Or seperate auth server and bnet server? Also - multiple databases?
  16. im on VPS Yes all is ok i think, i already have 2 server working 3.3.5 and 4.3.4 thats great. if i look all port are open tcp 0 0* LISTEN tcp 0 0* LISTEN tcp 0 0* LISTEN tcp 0 0* LISTEN i use 8088 and 8089 because of my 2 other wow server. i tryed many combination with ip or domain name LoginREST.ExternalAddress=with external ip LoginREST.LocalAddress= with loopback or externa ip

  18. thanks for reply. yeah, the populating process is done but... i put the TDB database in folder and as the picture worldserver.exe didnt find that for import (pls see the error: "... database is empty and try to auto populating" ) when i check the table of database: for example world (pic 2) no table! what can i do?
  19. May seem a silly question, but did you properly configure your IP addresses in bnetserver.conf? Theres an External REST IP (for people commecting to you remotely) and an Internal REST IP (for people connecting locally). Are you using a router? Server and client on same machine? Did you open ports 1119, 8081, 8085, 8086?

  21. unless something broke on the last days most of those things where working 1w ago it's true the "The Lights Dawn" fails most of times, but it's doable without gm intervention. 125 times completed

  24. Love this Dev. so far, so do my players, have ran into some issues with quests on the Death Knight Starting Area. The Quest [Massacre at Lights Point] is bugged for all races (MIne cart quest) apparently the object cannot be selected by the player in order to start the quest, Quest [An End to All Things] While Riding the dragon, killing the soldiers works perfect, however the catapults are evade bugged, the dragon is only capable of doing 50% damage to the catapults before the evade out and heal back to 100% thus rendering the quest not viable either. and [The Lights Dawn] which is the final quest is completely bugged out, the undead army launches forward however the army of the light never shows up at lights hope to enable the battle. There are a few other bugs I'd like to report but this one is major and idealy game breaking due to the fact that it completely nullifies the Death Knight Class as they start out at level 55 in their own instance zone and the quests are linear in the beginning to get out and 3 of the major quests are extremely flawed without GM intervention the players can't play. Also while we're at it. Could you look into the Hunters Pet Tame quests for all races as well. the 3rd one especially bugs out. This skill is needed for taming pets. Thanks!

Looking at src\server\game\Entities\Player\Player.cpp - SendTimeSync() : if (m_timeSyncQueue.size() > 3) TC_LOG_ERROR("network", "Player::SendTimeSync: Did not receive CMSG_TIME_SYNC_RESP for over 30 seconds from '%s' (%s), possible cheater", GetName().c_str(), GetGUID().ToString().c_str()); My guess is something is pushing more onto the queue (calling Player::TimeSync()) faster than the function can create a packet and send it.
  26. Well its ashamanecore based in trinitycore,bfa 34220. Log hasnt more data... With every quest in starting zones,for example: https://classic.wowhead.com/quest=8325/reclaiming-sunstrider-isle In trinity master it works good,I wasted a lot of hours trying to figure where is the issue and I would like to fix it...I think that it could be packets,or something related to entities/player.cpp. The quests are autoaccept,you get the quest and when you click the accept button to close the gossip so the game get stuck. You can move,writte in chat,open talents,but if you click the npc or others npcs they dont show the gossip menu,or vendor menu,etc.Since that you click accept quest worldserver console repeat message 4 or 5 times and then you get disconnected: Did not receive CMSG_TIME_SYNC_RESP for over 30 seconds from 'Nel' (Player-1-00000004), possible cheater
