  1. Sorry, but we don't go to stay on VS2010 because core devs wanna use lambas and other c++11 only features, if you can't afford W7/8 machine, install Linux, but we don't go to stay on a 13 years old unsuported OS, and if next year VS2014 is released and GCC 4.9 becomes final and we see c++14 can help us we will force again compiler minimum requirement ussing c++14 only features, if you don't wanna have gunship battle, stay on VS2010 or switch to mangos.

Ah, btw, "as most server machines run better off of xp/vist and MSVS 2010" you can also switch into linux and there it will run even better.

I'm so sorry that you have to deal with people that think XP/Vista should be used to run servers, ever.

  2. Hello everyone.

I'm having some trouble with in game commands for RBAC.

    --To answer the basic questions--

    I have a self-compile made today.

I have updated the world database

I have not updated character or auth database.

I have created accounts and given them security through console.

(.account create test test1 | .account set gmlevel test 3 -1)

The auth database is set up correctly with all four RBAC tables, and the linked permissions are set properly.

Players: No commands, unable to access BGs/Arenas/Etc.

Not sure what else I could do. I've been looking around the forums for a few hours trying to figure out how to fix this.

  3. Hey, just having some errors with vMaps.

    Windows Server 2003

Trinity 4.3.4 branch, just compiled about 45 minutes ago.

MapExtractor.exe ran, made a maps & DBC folder. Closed very quickly though, but I checked and it has the necessary DBC files (From my experience, I've been using TrinityCore for a while now.)

It seems to be having an error using the Buildings folder while populating the vmaps folder if I understand it all correctly. Here's the error. (Sorry, I can't screenshot anything on my dedicated or I would)

    Extracting WorldwmotransportsWMO_elevatorsND_Ship_UD_BG_Transport.wmo

    C:UsersrootDownloadsWorld of Warcraft - Cataclysm 4.3.4 (15595)World of War
    craft - Cataclysm 4.3.4 (15595)>md vmaps

    C:UsersrootDownloadsWorld of Warcraft - Cataclysm 4.3.4 (15595)World of War
    craft - Cataclysm 4.3.4 (15595)>vmapassembler.exe Buildings vmaps
using Buildings as source directory and writing output to vmaps
    Could not read dir_bin file!
    exit with errors

    C:UsersrootDownloadsWorld of Warcraft - Cataclysm 4.3.4 (15595)World of War
    craft - Cataclysm 4.3.4 (15595)>pause
Press any key to continue . . .

That's exactly what the error said

    Thanks a ton!
