I wonder how the fuck someone can start a new server with a 2 years old core being starter. 

Actually it is a server that a friend of mine began. Now I tried to bring the thing running again what almost worked (I think so)...

Well it would be kind of complicated to explain you the circumstances. Was this an answer to my qustion so far or not?

hi there,

In this days i try to set up my own Trinity-3.3.5a WoW-Server.

I have read several tutorials and everything worked  fine, but now i have a problem:

 

XAMPP is working (i can start apache and mySQL, both get their lovely green background)

The next step is starting navicat and batching the trinity_auth, trinity_world, and trinity_chars in. This also worked fine.

 

What doesnt work now, is starting the authserver.exe. Everytime i do this, it  imediately closes. It closes so fast, i cant even read whats wrong with it.

The logfile says this to me:

But i dont know, why there is no possibility to connect with the database. At the firewall settings i opened Port 3306 and 3724 (but only TCP, no UDP). My mySQL settings are correct, too. "root" as username, no password.

So i dont know what i did wrong. 

Please help, or feel free to contact, if this topic has a lack of information u need to solve the problem.
