  1. This isn't a realm ID issue or the player wouldn't even be able to connect at all.

    Is your friend using a hacked version of the client? Did they modify any of their MPQ files? If this happens only when a loading screen appears, it seems to me that something is broken on the client side.

    I remember when I was mucking around with trying to change the Draeni models into Night Elf models by editing the DBC files, I caused similar "malformed packet" issues when trying to /sit or /dance which not only disconnected me but crashed my client too.

    using the exact same client as he does and it's not hacked nor have we modded any mpq files nor any dbc files. But i'll tell him to try and re-download the client and try again, thanks for the answer, i'll get back to you guys with an answer.

  2. The problem is with your server config. I'm not sure what you mean by gm access having anything to do with it since he can't connect properly either way. realmid -1? Huh?

Hi it seems that my friend keeps disconnecting on loadingscreens and we checked to see if it works normally on other servers and it did, the problem seems to lie within gm access for some reason, when the realmid is -1 it disconnects him, if it's 1 it keeps him on but disconnects when loading screens pop up, on 1 it just doesn't work, etc, could anyone help out?

    Ports: All are open and forwarded properly, checked on a portchecker.

    Dns is linked.

    ip is correct seeing as he is able to connect at certain points stated above.

    Don't know if this will help, but getting this error in server logs when he gets disconnected

  4. Those errors indicate you most likely missed an SQL update

    There are tools and guides on the forum, just search for them.

    Alright, how about the mismatch is that a problem aswell, dunno how to fix that part. I'll search for 'em cheers for telling me mate. Any names to search for? tried searching for SQL import/importer but nothing showed up.

    ..i'm stupid, found it in utillities >.<

  5. In wordserver.conf change SQLDriverLogFile to "SQLDriver.log", SQLDriverQueryLogging to 1 and after executing world server go to logs/SQLDriver.log and find the errors. Did you forget to apply any SQL (full DB + all sqls in /Sql/updates/world)?

    think i updated everything, that was recently released in the pull.. so i'll try again and see if it works then.

    is there any programs that'll apply all the updates at once, instead of having to go into individual sql's and copy and paste?

  6. Hey it seems that after i have configured my world.conf to the right mysql settings it won't connect for some reason, authserver is working perfectly without any problems with the same settings.
