  1. Been away during the weekend and it seems my friend isn't home, i'll get back to this after we try it out later tonight, thanks for all the advice and help so far guys, hopefully this'll be solved soon
  2. Thanks for the links he is currently downloading it, his internet is a bit slow compared to my 100mbit connection so it'll take some time.
  3. He is currently repairing it, it seems, otherwise i'll direct him towards a torrent, used to be easier to get clients a year or two ago.
  4. using the exact same client as he does and it's not hacked nor have we modded any mpq files nor any dbc files. But i'll tell him to try and re-download the client and try again, thanks for the answer, i'll get back to you guys with an answer.
  5. Extremly sorry about not having spoiler tags on them, but i have no clue how to add that on here.
  6. Hi it seems that my friend keeps disconnecting on loadingscreens and we checked to see if it works normally on other servers and it did, the problem seems to lie within gm access for some reason, when the realmid is -1 it disconnects him, if it's 1 it keeps him on but disconnects when loading screens pop up, on 1 it just doesn't work, etc, could anyone help out? Ports: All are open and forwarded properly, checked on a portchecker. Dns is linked. ip is correct seeing as he is able to connect at certain points stated above. Don't know if this will help, but getting this error in server logs when he gets disconnected WorldSocket::handle_input_header(): client (account: 0, char [GUID: 0, name: <none>]) sent malformed packet (size: 36189, cmd: 718358803)
  7. Hey there i seem to be getting an error while importing the tdb_full, the most recent one (2 months old) here's the error u have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'world' at line 2 */ Can't seem to get my head around it
  8. Alright, how about the mismatch is that a problem aswell, dunno how to fix that part. I'll search for 'em cheers for telling me mate. Any names to search for? tried searching for SQL import/importer but nothing showed up. ..i'm stupid, found it in utillities >.< works now, cheers mate.
  9. think i updated everything, that was recently released in the pull.. so i'll try again and see if it works then. is there any programs that'll apply all the updates at once, instead of having to go into individual sql's and copy and paste? this is the error i get: 2012-04-13 10:21:22 Opening DatabasePool 'world'.
