    The latest version of SQL version 5.5.24 is bugged. If you are installing a new version use a previos version! Also, if your MySQL Workbench version freezes, use the MySQL Server Commandline instead. After login, enter: /u<space><databasename><enter> /.<space><Driveletter:><path><filename.sql><enter> That works fine and very fast also!
