  1. I tried again but with only sql files that were required to successfully start the server by applying them one by one using the startup output in the console. Now do you think that's right? Its basically the minimum otherwise the server won't start.
  2. I think the main problem comes from the fact that new developers to this project wants to start on the HEAD revision and not some 6 months oldish code just because the database wasn't updated. Now, I know you're going to say the same thing, that "if you are a developer you can figure it out bla bla bla...". That is just disingenuous. Why do we have to spend time to fix the database when the HEAD revision compiles just fine? Why is it so hard to keep the database sync with the HEAD revision? Its really not because we can't figure it out, its just wasted time that could be used doing something else more helpful.
  3. Ok cool I think I figured it out. There was a lot of errors in the SQL updates, that was kind-of a lot of work to fix them, but now I think I have a clean TDB that is sync with the latest 4.3.4 branch.
  4. Hi all, I'm completely new to this project, and so far I very much like what I see. I am a developer myself and I thought it would be fun to join in. I'd like to work on the latest 4.3.4 core. So I have a question... I've read all the tutorials to get a build working that is sync with a specific version of the core, but what if I wanted to actually use the latest core version? Its not clear if I need to install the updates from TDB, or if I should only install the updates found in the core? In any case, I'm guessing I need to start from the latest Full-TDB-5? Thank you.
