  1. Not sure if this is the proper place to post this but it seems the most ontopic plate to do it. When i download the source, it compiles just fine and works without outputing any errors. However, im getting some Warnings for a while now regarding SOAP during compile. Is there a way to fix these warnings? Sometimes warnings = errors and this has me a little bit concerned. Using Ubuntu Server 14.04 x64 with 3.3.5a trinitycore source from https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore
  2. Dude, what's so funny? Is that so hard to believe ? Is is hard to understand the fact that some people took a TrinityCore version at some point and made it way better than the "official devs" ? It's one thing to work on an antique project (wotlk branch) and a kinda newer one (cata 4.3.4) at the same time and a completely different thing to work exclusivelly for cata 4.3.4. It's quite normal to progress more working on a single project than 2 different projects at the same time. If you dont believe me, u can always ask me by PM to give you their server details and start playing there for a while and test things yourself. If after a while of testing, it turns out that im not right, hell, i will specifically ask to be banned from this site/community.
  3. the 95% thingy is my own estimation based on my own experience playing there. After a year or so i havent found a bugged quest so far and all the bosses are scripted Blizzlike (all the released bosses). I dont really care how they did to fix it all. I was just surprised to see the development of trinity's 4.3.4 branch is so far behind.
  4. That's odd. I know a server here in Romania that uses trinityCore and they have 4.3.4 working at least 95% for like a couple a' months now... (wow.private server linkin is forbidden.ro). Im not advertising or anything. It's not my server and the owner is a jackass called "Shockeru". It's just that they have a really great server made with Trinity.
  5. At least the How-to-Linux guide says exactly that : to put the build folder in the source folder. (cd TrinityCore -> mkdir build -> cd build -> cmake ......)
  6. So can someone tell me a stable version of the 4.3.4 branch that compiles fine and doesnt output database errors?
  7. @Aokromes : is there a way to make the trinitycore compile under linux portable? Im not talking about making repacks to distribute to others. Im talking about being able to compile everything on a test machine (in my case a ubuntu 14.04 x64 virtual machine with vmware) and simply copy the server files on the host that im renting and run the server there? In the compile tutorial we have this example However, the lib folder doesnt get created during "make install" and i think this is the reason why the server isnt portable. Am i wrong? If yes, how can i make a portable compile of the server core? I repeat, is for own use (without having to recompile on the remote host machine) not to provide others with a repack. BTW i want to use the 4.3.4 branch if it makes any difference. BTW : Which version of trinitycore 4.3.4 branch is working properly (compiles without errors and runs without db errors) ???
