  1. I'm having an unknown column issue. I am able to import TDB_full_434.09_2014_10_19.sql into the world database just fine. But when I try to update it by importing the world_updates.sql (created from merge_windows.bat) it runs part of the sql file and then gives the error "(1054): Unknown column 'ChanceOrQuestChance' in 'field list'" I've read the wiki articles countless times and tried all the steps in the first post of this thread and still can't get it to work. I don't think I've missed anything, especially given the sheer number of times I've gone through the whole process. Any ideas what could be causing this? Edit: I've started going through the updates that merge_windows merges, importing them into the world database one by one. In doing this I've discovered that a large chunk of them get the unknown column error and others get various other types of errors. This leads me to believe that these updates do not even go with the current TDB_full. I'm getting the updates from https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore_4.3.4_DB_Alpha_Read_Only and TDB_full from http://www.trinitycore.org/f/files/file/9-legacy-tdb-full-434/. TDB_full is showing it's most recent version was october 19. The updates are showing their most recent version was october 18. I would think these would go together seeing as how they are the most recent versions of both. Considering they're both recent, and nobody else seems to be having problems, I'm left with the assumption that it's not the database sql files causing the error but something else. I'm at a loss on what that something else could be or even where to begin looking. Character sets are on utf8 by the way so that's not the issue.
