Famous Longwing
So far just a warning for fedora users, fedora 26 (released 7/11/2017) wants to use openssl 1.1 by default, according to Cmake this makes it incompatible with wotlk(as far as I have tested). Additionally the 1.0 packages do not exist in 26's repos, and attempting to download/install from older repos is not trivial as it conflicts with not only it's later version, but other packages as well (not to mention the dependencies have been updated as well, and need to be reverted). At this point I do not have a solution, however any insight into restoring this functionality(short of switching distros) would be appreciated

Famous Longwing
Odd, I must have blacked out when reading that particular page last time I looked at the wiki. My mistake.
