The file type is still an application for the connection_patcher.exe even if it does not show one if you go to properties you will see it is executable still, you can run this in command prompt I do all the time by declaring the path to the file and file name.

You can download the file on piratebay by going to google and putting piratebay into the search then search for world of warcraft and download the 3.3.5a client from that site or others like it. If you cannot find one let me know and I will send you a private message with a link for the client.

This normally happens when the file is being blocked because it has happen in the past so make sure the file is not being blocked in any other way also make sure you have enough space that is another error that seems to happen a lot when trying to patch the client.

Are you running the bat file with vmaps or are you loading the vmaps extractor itself because you should use the bat file with it so you can catch any errors or crashes that might happen with the extractor.

Those missing tables are added for the other version of trinitycore like 7.x when you add the world database from the updates those are all the tables with 3.3.5a

I rarely use mariadb for any version of Linux and more so for Ubuntu even so just use MySQL for your data flow. You are going to be better in the long run unless you really know mariadb I would not use it.

Bnet server for 4.3.4 is not done or working yet but auth server is working of course and for the realmlist in the database for realm looping make sure it is set to your main IP and not localhost or 127.0.0.1 but instead the main IP. Also make sure in the wow directory you have under realmlist.wtf file the main IP address as well.

If you select desktop environment on the main screen you will not have any problems installing what you need and it is no more then 4.7gb in size. I want to say actually 4.5gb.

I guess I should of mention mixing libs as well never gave it much thought until you said you mixed them sorry about that, just glad you got it working.

If I am right and understand the log correctly if there wasn't more to it then it is saying it cannot link to boost correctly meaning it cannot find it, are you using boost 1_63_0 or 1_64_0 if you are then use 1_63_0 because it should point to that directory unlike 1_64_0 which seems to have trouble when finding the libs for boost.

To test battlegrounds you can do .debug bg or to just enter them.

You use 7.2.0 database still and let the worldserver.exe update the files so you are updated to where you need to be.

Which version of boost do you have installed 1.63.0? or another version and did you set the variable from the wiki?

For one thing you are suppose to be using build inside your main server directory instead of outside it. so do build inside your server like the wiki says to do so you can build the files

Make a .bat file and run the extractor in the bat file then pause it so you can also see the message you are getting before it crashes so you know what it is doing for sure.

Well if he is talking about 3.3.5a then mine is enGB but if you are talking about 7.2.5 I know there is no enGB anymore but for the other client I have enGB on mine or 4.3.4 but have you tried moving that to another directory because I had to before mine worked. Is that in the main directory? I know you said it worked on 7.2.0, mine works for both too.

Is this for legion or a different one of the client you are using, also are you trying to run this on Linux or windows?

Yeah your resources are running out that is why it is killing the process, I was okay on my windows machine but the linux I had to bump up my resources to get it to run the process for the server.

If your other friends can connect to the world server and realm outside your network and is not locally connecting then the other friend cannot be using your external IP address or they would be able to connect too. And if they are connecting locally then you do not have your external IP address setup.

I had the same problem until I restored the files on the client and restored the wtf folder as well then everything worked great for me afterwards because it was not loading the mpq file properly in the format that it needed to understand the conversion when the client loaded into the world and worldserver.exe when loading the information back and forth but needless to say everything is working great now.
