Okay, so I've decided to give this a go on my iMac instead. I'm doing as much as I can with Homebrew this time. We'll see how it goes.
macOS High Sierra 10.13.6
try this if you still don't have tried it.

Hi, is there a TrinityCore for the original vanilla version?
no.
-
i suggest you to use clang like wiki states.

From a development standpoint how hard would it be to add branches on github for specific versions of clients? Right now there is mostly the master branch, 3.3.5, and BfA. If you wanted to build for a specific client like MoP before the legendary cloak quest was unavailable, or Legion 7.2.5 before scaling was added is that possible with Trinity or do you have to resort to other projects that just branched off from Trinity long ago and may no longer be updated?
tc never suported mop, so you will need one non-tc.

getting this response when starting to compile. why is it telling me my Trinity isn't up to date when I downloaded it today?i told you 2 times already, with this 3, you need GCC 6.3.0. you have GCC 6.0.0 ask to who installed you GCC to install CLANG for you.

I'm on Linux Debian 9.5. I updated trinitycore 3.3.5 to ce46a0d53c3d (db version 335.64) today, and when I ran worldserver I got an error:
"[1054] Unknown column 'OfferRewardText' in 'field list'"
"Your database structure is not up to date. Please make sure you've executed all queries in the sql/updates folders."After a lot of trying different things (manually loading TDB, manually applying updates), I've been unable to get beyond that error. The latest attempt I've done which looks to not have errors until the one displayed above was to drop the world database and let worldserver create and update it. It looks to install TDB fine, and after the updates displays
">> Applied 573 queries. Containing 0 new and 3161 archived updates."
then goes on to start loading, but then gets to
">> Loaded 2472 Item set name locale strings in 8 ms"
before I get the error above, and then get
"Caught signal 6"
"Segmentation fault"
and the server exits. What should I try next?
you forgot make install.

I seem to be getting this a lot, I have a verdant sphere in my bag which causes Segmentation fault on server every time I try to open it. Seems to happen when casting Warlock spells too. I've compiled the latest Master branch from Git on Ubuntu 18.04 with 4gb ram 2gb swap. Could it be low memory or something else? Seems odd that opening an item would crash the worldserver completely. The memory doesn't appear maxed out, in the past as a developer I've seen segmentation faults caused by infinite loops somewhere.
4gb of ram + 2 gb of swap must be enough for legion. but there are some warlock spells known to crash the core.

Figured it out, dropped the DB and let the worldsever do it. Same error.
git pull and compile again.

truncate world, character and auth databases and leave core the job of import them, don't manually import them.

Its centos, yes its from git, everything is ok, iptable is ok too. Some people can connect from internet some people cannot connect ! they can auth & load characters...
if only SOME people cannot, maybe the issue is on their side and not on your.

Hello, I'm right now using 7.3.5.26972 (x64).
My problem here is that I've done the server, and it was working for me on "Local" but then I tried to open it for friends to play with, and then now I'm getting the "BLZ51901002", I've been all the day checking everything I've done from changing to an "Online" server.
So all I've done is =
- Oppening the 8085 & 3724 ports in my router.
- Putting the exception in the Firewall (8085 & 3724 TCP and UDP).
- Creating a DNS in https://www.noip.com/
- Add my external IP adress and DNS in "host" of Windows in: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
127.0.0.1 myhost.ddns.net
externalip myhost.ddns.net- Change localip to externalip in the DB
- Change Local IP in "config.wtf" to the DNS or External IP on: "\World of Warcraft\WTF"Edit: Sry if you already responded to this (I'm reading everything now, I posted this just in case). And sorry for my bad grammar (If there's something)
master branch needs different ports than 3.3.5a:
