    Hi,

I have an issue with Dressing room (when you SHIFT + left click an item).

So the problem is when I open the Dressing room, the model won't rotate with the mouse its like its locked, so I can't rotate.

If someone got the same problem or solution for the problem, please share it with me.

    Thanks.

it's client limitation, you must usue the arrows on the top left side.

So I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing wrong or this stuff just doesn't exist.

So I'm running the master branch of TrinityCore which allows me to use patch 9.0.5

the closes DB I found to that patch was TDB 837.20101 so I downloaded that DB and let the world server import the DB

In console I get a ton of errors about missing creatures, quests, etc.

I login to the game and no NPC/Creatures are spawned in BFA Locations or Legion Locations

Shadowlands is completely empty but for that I figured hey it's still need still being worked out so I understand that but I figured TDB 835 would have BFA spawned in & legion spawned in so am I doing something wrong or is this how the DB just is for this patch?

there is no contain after cata.

I suppose I should have mentioned that my firewall is a Sonicwall NSA4500. It's not a consumer router but an enterprise-grade firewall appliance.

    Nevertheless...

I edited the hosts file and added these lines:

    127.0.0.1 wow.mydomain.com
    192.168.x.y wow.mydomain.com
    50.251.a.b wow.mydomain.com

and then restarted both authserver and worldserver but I still cannot connect to it.

you cannot add the 3, you need to add your lan ip of server there.

I have a virtual server on my home LAN that I am attempting to turn public, but I'm having trouble with the configuration. My original, private server configuration works just fine but when I make the configuration changes to turn it public, I can't connect.

    • Windows Server 2016
    • server hostname:  wow1
    • TrinityCore 3.3.5a
    • wow1 Private IP: 192.168.x.y
    • Firewall Public IP: 50.251.a.b
    • Firewall ports opened: TCP&UDP 3724,8085
    • public DNS A record:  wow.mydomain.com

    I have:

    1. poked holes in the firewall for UDP and TCP for 3724 and 8085
    2. registered the A record for my DNS domain wow.mydomain.com for IP 50.251.a.b
    3. created NAT entries in the firewall forwarding 3724 and 8085 from the public IP (50.251.a.b) to the private host wow1 (192.168.x.y)
    4. altered the realmlist entry in the auth database, changing the address entry from 'wow1' to 'wow.mydomain.com'
    5. in my client on a remote, external network network, I edited C:\WoW\Data\enGB\realmlist.wtf changing 'set realmlist wow1' to set realmlist wow.mydomain.com'

I intentionally skipped configuring host files and/or configuring dynamic DNS since I have a registered domain name and static public IP addresses.

Eventually I'd like to have it set up so I can connect internally and externally to wow1, but for now I'd like to simply get the external access working properly.  What have I missed?

you NEED to edit the hosts file to can connect internally and externally.

you usually cannot connect from lan to wan on domestic routers and because you need to edit hosts.

    Hi Jinnai,

I want to make sure I understand your statement if you dont mind.

By Client do you mean the TrinityCore folder or do I need to actually upload the files from the 3.3.5 WoW client? If so, where do these files need to be copied to?

BTW, if applicable, I am asking because I didnt see anything in the instructions to do this.

    Appreciate the additional assistance here!

When my friends log in the same thing happens and with that client if i join another server its all in english so im pretty sure its about the source or some config that i really cant find

a clean trinitycore have a lot of things multilanguage, other servers may have deleted other languages. like i told you it depends on client language.

    Hi,

Taxi to Quel Danas crashes the server.
It happens when approaching the coast of the island.

Is there an easy way to disable/delete that taxi destination ?
( because we don't need to go there ).

    Thank you.

    TrinityCore rev. 4f1a9b99986d+ 2020-11-17 23:44:10 +0700 (3.3.5-Single-Player branch) (Unix, RelWithDebInfo, Static)

    1st: update your core

2nd: on clean core i am unable to reproduce the crash.

G'day just wondering if you can combine 3.3.5 auth and 9.x.x auth together so i just have one auth DB for both builds, i know i'll need sperate Character and World DB.

at least it's doable from 3.3.5a to 4.3.4, for sure it's doable too to master branch.

Ah, right thanks you. This is what I had already downloaded but wasn't sure as the guide appears to indicate differently.

But also, this 7z file contains just one file .sql file - TDB_full_world_335.21021_2021_02_15.sql. Not "TDB_world_" and "TDB_hotfixes_" files as the guide would have people expect.

Anyway, after confirming this, I now have a working server. Thanks for your help.

again, hotfixes is master branch only. anyway i reworded that.

Not sure if I understand what you have said. I have downloaded the 3.3.5a branch db as I have downloaded the 3.3.5a server....

I do not see anylink to download TDB_full_*.7z the green Download button...

I'm a systems engineer and the following is confusing, even to me. Might be fine for someone who has done this before or wrote it......

    Downloading the database

Download the latest database compilation from TrinityCore Downloads (you may need to click on Next at page footer to see the proper TDB files).  - Nope - not seeing this...

    • Note that there are different database compilations available for different branches of TrinityCore, for example 3.3.5 and master.

Click the database release you want to download, scroll down to the bottom and you should see a link to download TDB_full_*.7z the green Download button on top right next to right column.

    • You want to download the file in .7z format - that is the database download and the others are not
    • The file is in .7z format, so you will need an archive program like 7zip to unpack it.

    Important

Usually there are multiple .sql files to choose from in the .7z archive.   - There is one.... TDB_full_world_335.21021_2021_02_15.7z - which contains just one sql file...

If this is your first time installing TrinityCore, you will ONLY need the file/s with the name starting by "TDB_full" on the directory where your worldserver binary (worldserver on linux or mac, worldserver.exe on windows) is located.

(the files inside updates are made to update from older TDB revisions without having to apply every file if you have autoupdater disabled and you don't update between TDB releases (NOT RECOMMENDED)).
