  1. I found the sniffer for 7.2.5.24742 but how do I get the client to connect to the retail server without asking me to update it? I am really willing to do the legwork here but I need some rough guiding to get me started.
  2. I found the issue on github #20193 Is there anything I can do to help? Maybe sniff some data or build a list of spells vs trainers? I checked the new tables but I could not find any info for the fields for tables trainers and trainer_spell In particular, I am not sure what should go in trainer.type and trainer.Greeting. I would like to contribute to this issue and I would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.
  3. HI guys, I did not want to open an issue right away in case is yet another minor thing I missed. I have a master build, modified with the latest db + updates. I can't seem to be able to learn any professions. Trainers just don't open the dialog window. How can I fix this? or is this a known issue? Thanks a lot.
  4. I have found the issue. I needed to apply the same values I had in the realmlist table to the REST fields also. LoginREST.ExternalAddress and LoginREST.LocalAddress I knew it was pretty silly.
  5. I have it if you still need. Do you need just binaries or the entire 40GB?
  6. Hi guys, I am not sure if this has been answered elsewhere but I've searched a lot and could not find any answer to fix my problem. I have a pristine master build (latest db unmodified) and it compiles and runs perfectly on my main machine, however, when I try to run the client from my laptop it just doesn't connect. I get first "connecting" and then "disconnected from the server". I have patched the client and setup the realmlist with all combinations I could find. The client on the laptop is a copy of the client that is running fine on my main machine. Table Realmlist address field has my external address 151.x.x.x and localAdress has my internal LAN address 192.168.x.x I also have tried a few other combination and nothing seems to work. I am sure I am missing something pretty simple here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  7. Hi guys, I know this may sound strange but after I synchronized yesterday I seem to be unable to compile it successfully. It keeps giving me a single error and I tried pretty much everything I can think of. It must me some compiler setting I am missing. It's on the very last line of Player.h (branch 3.3.5) (VS 2015 x64) If I comment that single line out all compiles fine. If I leave it I get this: I am going absolutely crazy here. Can anyone shed some light please? Thanks a lot!
  8. Exactly the same as mine. I tried turning off firewall and forwarding the necessary ports but it doesn't seem to work.
  9. Hi there, I can connect fine when at the same machine but whenever I go to a second machine I get this message: You have been disconnected (BLZ51914001) My Config.wtf and database settings are as they used to be when running 6.2.3 but now after the update to 6.2.4 I can only run it from the same machine. Am I missing any additional change that went on for 6.2.4? Thanks a lot!
  10. Awesome. All works flawless now. Thanks Rochet.
  11. Well the connection_patcher now only finds the pattern on 6.2.4. I have a pristine 6.2.3.20886 and the new connection_patcher finds nothing on it. In any case running an old patched 6.2.3.20886 or a new patched 6.2.4 the result is the same for me so not sure what I am doing wrong.
  12. OK I am a bit confused I have just got a clean 6.x and built it no problems. Then I got an honest 6.2.4.21355 client and applied the connection_patch. Result: Client get stuck at "Connected" Am I doing anything wrong? Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but I could not find it. PS: A 3-day old build works just fine with 6.2.3.20886. So machine and db settings are fine.
