I don't see how you can reach that with gcc 4.4.7 since the minimum requierement is 4.7.

You don't get it: Use mysql -u username -pPASSWORD database < hugefiletoimport.sql instead GUIs

I told you, use mysql cli.

I sugest you to stay on cmake 2.8.12

For sure you have installed both one lower version of gcc and 4.7.3 i recommend you to update to Ubuntu 14.
