just follow the goddamn guide and install ALL of the updates, instead of just the ones you think need to be installed. and don't install old updates unless you are using an old DB, in which case, you must install all bazillion old updates... best to just drop the world db and start with TDB 53 full plus updates...

I'm certain his problem is not heidisql, it is the fact that he went in and dropped all of his DBs, including the ones required for mysql to work properly.

Some people should just give up and go back to playing on someone else's server.

mmap and vmap are two separate things, you didn't extract the new mmaps...

I love how people don't quite understand how errors during compiling work, the last error doesn't mean shit, you need to find the ACTUAL error(s) which will be the FIRST errors in the log.

+Kylroi I see by many of your comments that you don't know how things around here work, but, one thing I can tell you will never change (because I have tried for years to change it) the Trinitycore repos are NOT public releases, they are dev repos that the public has access to, and, as such, the devs have no particular responsibility to ensure that anyone will be able to compile or run anything from them.

upper right hand corner, and realmlist loop will find you several topics. Just make sure you change where it says "this topic" to "forums" by clicking on it so you search the entire forums. I know it sounds hard, but, it really isn't.

Apply all the updates to your DB. And learn how to use the search.

did you mess with the log settings? try a clean conf file only changing the mysql connection settings.

you are probably missing the proper version of .NET or runtimes on the other computer.

express won't do 64 bit without downloading and installing extra components. The better idea for now is to make sure you have 32 bit everything (the mysql server can be 64 bit, as long as you have the sources for the client (.dll) in 32 bit...)

huh? WTF are you trying to do? .conf is a text based config file, how does that lead to an error, or have anything to do with an SQL client or server?

obviously, you need to install the readline library... Did you even read the linux how to on the wiki?

I said local repo, as in, to be used by you and computers on your LAN...

I still think it would be best if someone was to capture these patches, etc. while doing the update and figure out how to apply them without streaming, etc., or, how to set up a local repository for it...
