  1. The problem is not your mysql server, it is the mysql client, which is usually compiled with the core, but, can also be dropped in from precompiled sources and may not be the version you are expecting.
  2. it needs to be OUTSIDE of the source directory, not in a subfolder of it.
  3. Looks like you installed the lite version of mysql, which doesn't include the headers needed for compilation, something mentioned in the official guide on the wiki, as well as the many threads you claimed you couldn't find.
  4. and what does this have to do with a linux kernel? is it a special version they use on their host machines?
  5. I've never heard of OVH, and a quick google search didn't tell me what it is, can someone explain?
  6. it's funny because you haven't been doing this long enough to realize that he either used a very old repack before, and continued to use the mysql that came with it when he decided to try a newer repack or self compile, or, what I meant was, like a repack user, he didn't properly follow the guide, or he would have known not to use an old mysql.
  7. This is why repacks are a scourge. You should be ashamed of yourself for helping him.
  8. ugh, please fix your revision string issue first, you shouldn't have received any help or support at all until you had a proper revision string to show.
  9. I haven't kept up with the change log, does this mean rbac for commands has been properly added now?
  10. and, be sure to use the NON light version, because cmake needs the headers and libraries, not just the openssl .dll or .so
  11. cc1plus? is that an officially supported compiler?
  12. which is also illegal, unless you extract them yourself, from your own client, so, NO.
  13. ugh, repack shit, no wonder you had problems... and this is why WE DON'T SUPPORT repacks. Follow the guide EXACTLY, or do not waste our time asking for help.
  14. well, if you actually fixed that error, and didn't just copy/paste (or manually edit) that line, then, you have likely not followed the proper procedure for installing DB and updates.
  15. we can't help you properly until you fix this. http://www.trinitycore.org/f/topic/345-howto-properly-install-git-on-windows-fix-trinitycore-rev-1970-01-01-000000-0000/ I really wish they would change it back to being impossible to compile at all unless this is properly done...
  16. what the actual [adult word]? what else would you use it on?
  17. I bet the real problem is trying to connect to a 3.3.5a server with either 4.x or 5.x client, because repack users aren't exactly the brightest people in the world.
  18. you didn't finish streaming, or, you are running the extractor with the client running.
  19. it looks like you have a lot more problems than one missing table. may I suggest you are not in the target user base of the 4.3.4 branch?
