  1. For a second there, I thought you were talking about rbac, and I got this hilarious picture in my head of a player that can move any direction but forward, because each direction has its own rbac permission, and his forward moving permission was revoked
  2. If you updated from a very old TC, (before TDB 51 was released) you will need to apply all of the proper updates, even those in sql/updates/old/3.3.5a/ that were added after the last revision you used... character updates SHOULD NOT be moved when a new full TDB is released, as the world DB has nothing to do with the characters or auth DBs, but, they still move them when they release a new full TDB... I don't know what the best course of action is, since the user could be updating from any revision along the line, so, you can't put them all together in one big update, but, something needs to be figured out that will make that part easier.
  3. So, once again, it seems people cannot get it through their skulls that when you update the core, you have to update the DB, when you update the DB, you have to update the core. and, if you have your own fork that you are doing changes on, and don't feel like pulling in new commits, don't apply new DBs, and DO NOT ASK FOR HELP HERE.
  4. 4.3.4 is unsupported, especially for people who can't read a simple error message and figure out what the problem is, and, really unsupported for anyone who reports "issues" in the forum, instead of the issue tracker.
  5. Yes, I was on when you fixed it, and could see that "past 24 hours" and "past two weeks" showed recent topics, but, no one posted anything new before I had to get to bed, so, I couldn't tell if that part was fixed, and, I see now (haven't been on all day) that it's working.
  6. When I click on View New Content it says no new content, but, when I click on the forums button, it shows that there are new posts... also, changing the search option from "content I have not read" to "past 24 hours" shows posts from 2011 ("past week" shows the most recent to be February 20th)
  7. So, github changed something in their webserver that causes it not to redirect properly if there is no / on the end, and yet their own links lack the trailing/? what idiots.
  8. I thought the tc2 pages were supposed to be deleted or renamed when any change is done, as we don't have a tc2 anymore.
  9. what is the difference between https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore/commits/master and https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore/commits ? because the second one works. of course, this doesn't help if you want to see the 4.3.4 commits...
  10. use a larger screen size, mine is 1280x1024, and everything is as it should be, but, when I grab the edge of the browser window and make it smaller, I see the same as your screenshot.
  11. http://www.trinitycore.org/f/topic/7969-trinity-worldserver-cannot-connect-to-database/#entry52668
  12. microsoft is all about the money, in the US, $ is the symbol for dollars, and, also looks like an S... Edit: Note to self: refresh the page before replying...
  13. Why did you BUY a German edition of VS if you can't understand German? Because, I know you didn't do something we can't help out with, like download it from the Internet.
  14. So, you removed .net 4.5 and updated VS to sp1 and that didn't fix it? we are not M$ help and support, and this thread should be closed telling you to go ask on m$ site...
  15. The problem is, it is Alpha, therefore, not officially supported, so, try it out all you like, just stop coming here expecting support for an unsupported core, see above where it says client 3.3.5a? that is the current supported client/server version, when it says 4.3.4 up there, then 4.3.4 is supported, and all these silly questions can be posted.
  16. Don't listen to him, 32 bit works just fine on 64 bit, as long as you have all the dependencies (mysql, openssl, etc.) matching... it's probably a rights issue. and, don't tell me, "but, I'm logged in as administrator" if you are using Vista or above, it doesn't matter, you can still have permissions issues as admin on those...
  17. My standard answer for this, is stop using 4.3.4 it is not even fully functional, and, if a simple thing like extracting the data is tripping you up, you are not ready for what you will find once someone holds your hand enough to actually get your server working.
  18. This is the English only part of the forums, in case you didn't notice...
  19. TrinityCore rev. 1970-01-01 00:00:00 +00300 (Archived) (Win32, Release) (worldserver-daemon) Sorry, no support for you.
  20. No, it was ignoring (probably stripping) the | altogether.
  21. When I searched for |Paradox| (in an attempt to see results from irc) I got exactly the same results as Paradox...
  22. give up. or, go back to 3.3.5a since you are obviously not good enough to get a 4.3.4 server going. and, 3.3.5a is more playable, while 4.3.4 is meant more for devs and people who can and will help further its development, something I get the distinct impression you will be completely unable to do.
