Athena
ok thanks for your default answer ... copy paste please never reply in my topic... i see your post's just say " search search " or... "see my signature" and etc.... Im a mod, that's my job! 90% of the problems are user related, and that "copy past" (moderation) will help user in most of cases to solve the problem answering their own questions. 5% of the problems where already answered by someone else on the forum... so search engine is a tool to be used. Only 5% of the problems are new and need our attention. So, answering your definitions of "please neve reply to my topic", sorry, i will always do that when your topic description don't fit the requirments. Maybe, next time you post a correct topic, giving all needed info and you will not see a reply from me.
Green_Code
I got the same Erron on Debian. Everything up-to-date - cmake-output looks fine...
Green_Code
Well, i have the same problem unsolved. Why should I open a new thread?
Athena
Did you followed the wiki step-by-step???
Green_Code
yes i did. But i down't know if there's something missing, because i just installed debian on my machine. But I installed everything as in the Wiki said and it worked...

Green_Code
oh no, the wiki worked (downloading software, installing ACE, getting the source..) Sorry about the missunderstanding... I left out the point of updating openssl, because i already had a version and the guide said that it isn't necessary to get the latest version... I got openssl_0.9.8o now, but it still doesn't work...
Athena
still the same problem? Strange... I re-installed debian a few minutes ago and got it compiled without problems... You must have done something different.
Green_Code
i just made: cmake ../TrinityCore/ -DPREFIX=/home/<username>/server -DWITH_WARNINGS=1 -DSERVERS=1 -DSCRIPTS=1 -DTOOLS=1 instead of: cmake ../TrinityCore/ -DPREFIX=/home/<username>/server -DWITH_WARNINGS=1 (of course i filled in my username...) could this be the solution? dfighter
Are you on a x86 platform that has no SSE2? `pause` was added as part of SSE2. I'm sure the TrinityCore developers would love to see the details of your system, but most importantly your CPU information. Could you post the output of cat /proc/cpuinfo[/CODE]

dfighter
It's a powerpc... That explains why it doesn't have SSE2 instructions xD Now the question is why your compiler creates and x86 SSE2 assembly then....
Athena
hum... just a question apart: Are you trying to compile and run Trinity on that system? Afaik that you don't have enought requirments to run it. The RAM is to low has the CPU power...
Green_Code
I don't want a server to play on it. So even if my speccs are to low, I just want to check some scripts a friend of mine wrote... Anyway - Linux doesn't seem to take that much systempower. That's why I installed Debian on my PowerBook... I would connect to it from another Computer anyway - so, I think i can handle the low speccs... Shtoink
Pretty sure you need osx if compiling on a mac? And by osx Im assuming thats osx on an x86? Correct me if Im wrong
Green_Code
Well I am pretty shure i installed the PowerPC-version, otherwise it wouldn't work...? But my system says it's GNU/LINUX 6.0 and i downloaded it here: powerpc

Athena
Unfortunely i don't have. I don't have debian on my G4... So i can't test it. Also, using Tiger should go nicely.
Green_Code
well... the latest OS i can install on it is Panther (10.3)... I think I'll try it.
Green_Code
Do you have an answer to my problem, dfighter?
Athena
That's it! dfighter, like me you don't have a clue of what the problem is so chill out! Being rude to me or to other members are not the way to go. So, you just earned a warning point. Green_Code, i sugest you to go to a osx O.S. and try to build there trinity. If you are wanting to build it only, there's no problem. Running it is another question has you don't have enought specs to run it flawlessly, you will be experiencing lags and high diffs.
