  1. @piyer see the posts above yours, it seems related to your issue (not selecting C++ compiler when installing VS)
  2. You can only apply the updates that you haven't applied before, that is, only new files in /updates that appeared after the last time you updated. While you can do it manually, we recommend to keep using the automatic updater. Yes.
  3. Did you try with a non GM account? If you tried with a normal account and it's still possible to create those races, create a ticket in our tracker https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore/blob/6.x/CONTRIBUTING.md#issues
  4. It's not currently possible. You might be able to do it by sending hotfixes to the client but that's out of scope of TC.
  5. Can you explain what you did so someone else with the same issue can come here to know more about it?
  6. You cannot use that PHP script nor .account create command to create accounts in 6.x. You need to use the .bnetaccount create command instead.
  7. Yeah... no. Try with a clean version, without silly modifications. "Revision: Core: Arcanum Core Private". Really?
  8. Oh, I forgot about telling you that. When installing VS one has to go to Custom Install options and enable the C++ modules.
  9. Why not simply cd ~/home/wow/source && git pull origin 3.3.5?
  10. Well.. " DBUpdater: Given source directory C:/Users/Owner/Desktop/Source/TrinityCore does not exist, skipped" does that exist and does it have TC sources? They are needed to create the DB. You can also disable the DBUpdater in worldserver.conf but that's not recommended.
  11. I meant CMakeError.log, CMakeOutput.log and perhaps whatever is written when you run CMake. One version only, the other one is the same.
  12. Can you paste CMake logs? Both of them
  13. I'd like to know about your "without any work" solution... There's an old backup of the wiki at http://dduarte.github.io/tc_335_wiki/TrinityCore-Requirements_10682398.html
  14. The "decision" is not set to stone. Right now, the fastest way to get to a working wiki is removing tabs and hosting it on Atlassian Cloud. A better long term solution is moving it to some open source software however this can't be done without spending a lot of time on it. I've been talking with the boys on IRC about converting to Github Wiki (repo + markdown) or https://readthedocs.org/ but to get this done we'd need the help of everyone (with pull requests to a repository created for docs only). Here's an example for ASP.NET by Microsoft: Source: https://github.com/aspnet/Docs Output: https://docs.asp.net/en/latest/
  15. There's only one query that uses the broadcast_text_locale table and it's a SELECT. Those locale tables do not increase unless you change the database externally (e.g, by applying updates)...
  16. +Gafemo: that's not a recent TrinityCore project, get it from https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore
  17. Do you mean TDB? You can get them from https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore/releases
  18. It's not that bad once you learn how to do loot properly. Use the reference templates.
  19. You don't need to downgrade, the supported version is 20574. P.S Wiki updated
  20. There is one but it should NOT be used.
