First time i only added manually base auth/characters and tdb_full hotfixes and world (I have done this several times before, I follow your job since long time ago and I have installed the most of your server versions and everything was ok always this way). Nevermind...

I followed your instructions (dropped every db) and I allowed worldserver.exe to create dbs and update it...same log error... and I didnt import manually any sql file this time....

That's exactly what I did :(

When I "Update" my Trinity core I download the precompiled branch, extract it, deposit in the Trinity Core folder I have. I overwrite all existing files so the new files take precidence. Then I launch core.

pull your sources, the core don't must try to apply again that sqls because they marqued archived.

P.s. clone the repository and compile it yourself.

Hi,

I deleted the world database from my MYSQL server and imported the latest 3.3.5a world database release and it started up, updated everything then it closes with:

 In mysql_stmt_prepare() id: 55, sql: "SELECT entry, difficulty_entry_1, difficulty_entry_2, difficulty_entry_3, KillCredit1, KillCredit2, modelid1, modelid2, modelid3, modelid4, name, subname, IconName, gossip_menu_id, minlevel, maxlevel, exp, faction, npcflag, speed_walk, speed_run, scale, rank, dmgschool, BaseAttackTime, RangeAttackTime, BaseVariance, RangeVariance, unit_class, unit_flags, unit_flags2, dynamicflags, family, trainer_type, trainer_spell, trainer_class, trainer_race, type, type_flags, lootid, pickpocketloot, skinloot, resistance1, resistance2, resistance3, resistance4, resistance5, resistance6, spell1, spell2, spell3, spell4, spell5, spell6, spell7, spell8, PetSpellDataId, VehicleId, mingold, maxgold, AIName, MovementType, InhabitType, HoverHeight, HealthModifier, ManaModifier, ArmorModifier, DamageModifier, ExperienceModifier, RacialLeader, movementId, RegenHealth, mechanic_immune_mask, spell_school_immune_mask, flags_extra, ScriptName FROM creature_template WHERE entry = ?"
Unknown column 'InhabitType' in 'field list'

I know this is an issue with the updates, because if I import the database from the releases website and not update it with the updates it works, a corrupt update possibly?

Inhabittype was changed/dropped.
So your core is probably too old to match the new DB I think.

Make sure you compile the core again with the latest changes so it matches the updated DB.

Oh about that actually, I'm getting a strange error when compling the core, I can't remember exactly what it is but it is saying some lib is missing and it's compling everything else but the authserver and worldserver.

Hello,

"Could not prepare statements of the World database"

I have seen some other topics with the same problem, I tried the solutions people listed but none of them helped. Dropped database several times, importing in mysql workbench and letting it do it by the worldserver didn't change a thing, redownloaded database files and still getting the same error.

Any other ideas?

delete your world database and leave core to do the job of import the database.

you look to be using some custom core, no TC repo contains isActive column.

Hey guys,

Just trying to set up a server and no idea where I've gone wrong. Pretty sure I followed the guide correctly, but there are a heap of errors when starting worldserver. It's all post creating the db's and applying updates after I create the tables with the query. This is on Windows 10. So far I have:

Pulled the latest Trinitycore and generated fine in cmake.

Compiled in VS2017 without errors.

Downloaded the TDB_full_735.00_2018_02_19.7z database files and I have the 7.3.5.26365 client which I've extracted everything fine from.

Created tables with sql query. Changed ip's etc in worldserver/bnet configs

Run worldserver.exe

I get the following errors attached in the file.

I can log in fine and run around, start some quests.  But if I use a FP it crashes the client.

Anyone know where I've gone messed up?

I'm on Linux Debian 9.5. I updated trinitycore 3.3.5 to ce46a0d53c3d (db version 335.64) today, and when I ran worldserver I got an error:
"[1054] Unknown column 'OfferRewardText' in 'field list'"
"Your database structure is not up to date. Please make sure you've executed all queries in the sql/updates folders."

After a lot of trying different things (manually loading TDB, manually applying updates), I've been unable to get beyond that error. The latest attempt I've done which looks to not have errors until the one displayed above was to drop the world database and let worldserver create and update it. It looks to install TDB fine, and after the updates displays
">> Applied 573 queries. Containing 0 new and 3161 archived updates."
then goes on to start loading, but then gets to
">> Loaded 2472 Item set name locale strings in 8 ms"
before I get the error above, and then get
"Caught signal 6"
"Segmentation fault"
and the server exits.

What should I try next?

I was sure I did make install, but I went through the process again and sure enough it's working! Thanks! I still have other issues, but I'll get those in their own threads since they're not db upgrade related.

Hello,
I followed the detailed guide (https://trinitycore.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/tc/overview?mode=global) to compile and install my server.

It works but I have multiple database errors (see DBErrors.log).

Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

I am in master branch and my client is in version 8.0.1.28153

Thank you in advance for your help.

      Hi,

The chat channel Lookup for group is not available when a player isn't in a city. I tried to modify the worldserver.conf file with:
      #
      #    Channel.RestrictedLfg
      #        Description: Restrict LookupForGroup channel to characters registered in the LFG tool.
      #        Default:     1 - (Enabled, Allow join to channel only if registered in LFG)
      #                     0 - (Disabled, Allow join to channel in any time)
      Channel.RestrictedLfg = 0

I restarted the server but it didn't help.

      Thanks

I believe everything I have done up to this point has been correct. When I go to launch worldserver.exe a console window opens up for a second and closes right away and nothing else seems to have happened. I skipped a head a little in the instructions to see what is left and step 5 seems skippable since I am running this only for this computer and step 6 has me launch to a log in screen which I can not get to. I tried going to the faq but the page was not loading properly so I am forced to post here.

Well ... today I was about to compile the trinity core version for WoW 4.3.4 of this repository "https://gitlab.com/trinitycore/TrinityCore_434". Download them and when you use the cmake, I generate the solution correctly. When I began to compile this went well until I got to the last step, when I was 90% practically.
